
Aug 19, 2015- The National Sports Council (NSC) added four more disciplines for the seventh National Games that is slated to be held in Eastern Region from November 27 to December 4.
A board meeting of the supreme body of Nepali sports decided to add sepak takraw, kho kho, fencing and triathlon. Kho kho was included during the fifth National Games but removed from the sixth in Dhangadi in 2013.
The seventh National Games will now include 35 disciplines participated in by almost 15,000 athletes of eight teams--five departmental regions along with three departmental teams. NSC Member Secretary Keshav Bista said the University team will not be given entry into the Games. University team had made its debut in Dhangadi.
